Senior IT Support Specialist

At adm Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our corporate network infrastructure, and driving innovation in our technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:- Configure, maintain, and support corporate network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Develop and implement IT policies and best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Recommend, implement, and monitor security measures to protect data, devices, and networks from cyber threats.
- Conduct regular system audits and checks to ensure network and data security.
- Support the planning and implementation of key IT initiatives, including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.
- Document common issues, causes, and solutions, as well as policies and procedures, to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Act as a project management leader, planning, organizing, and managing overseas SLA teams to monitor progress and drive team execution.
- Support all IT needs for a population of in-office and remote-based employees, ensuring timely resolution of technology issues.
- Work closely with senior leadership to prioritize technology needs across the organization.
- Lead technology onboarding and manage offboarding of employees, ensuring a seamless transition.
- Administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades, maintaining inventory of all technology assets.
- Manage e-waste and ensure safe disposal of technological items.
- Research and explore IT best practices and emerging technology, sharing recommendations for opportunities to improve and update software, systems, and processes.
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3-5 years' experience in information technology, with proficiency in corporate infrastructure technologies and security best practices.
- Experience with enterprise IT solutions, network administration, server maintenance, vendor selection, hardware/software management, and support.
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, and proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication.
- Project management and time management/prioritization skills in an agile environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to present complex technical concepts in a simplified way to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with core technologies, including Windows OS, Windows Server, Android, iOS, Macintosh OS, Microsoft Suite, printer installation, Auto-Task ticketing-tracking system, Sage CRM application, SonicWall Firewalls, Dell Switches, Cisco Wireless Access Points, Cloud technologies, DNS/DHCP/VLANs, Backup Methods and Products, and Disaster Recovery Planning and Simulation.
