Job Title: Nursing Department Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Department Coordinator to join our team in Princeton, NJ.

This role involves coordinating administrative activities, supporting nurses with patient care, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of patient tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating administrative activities and initiatives
  • Supporting nurses with patient checklist completion and chart maintenance
  • Verifying insurance and financial information for patients
  • Managing EMR to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Reviewing lab results and patient records for accuracy
  • Facilitating genetic testing and counseling
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
  • Providing clinical assistance as needed
  • Triage patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Initiating prior authorization for procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience; Associate Degree or CMA certification preferred
  • Minimum two years' experience in a multi-physician practice with clinical and administrative expertise
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and reimbursement processes
  • Sensitivity to physicians', nurses', and patients' needs and concerns
  • Proven independent work experience

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year (dependent on experience)
