About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Director to lead our foodservice operations at HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional culinary leadership and ensuring the highest quality food service to our patients and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Service Management: Manage the food service department to provide excellent service and quality, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership that supports a team environment that fosters morale, passion, quality, and respect, and lead team member recruiting, training, development, scheduling, and assignments.
  • Menu Development and Planning: Collaborate with dietitians and chefs to develop menus that are in line with market trends and deliver nutritional value, and manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, planning, schedules, payroll, and supplies to ensure budget compliance.
  • Customer Service and Satisfaction: Demonstrate continuous ability to maintain and/or improve customer and patient satisfaction through communication, integrity, and performance, and provide exceptional customer service to patients and guests.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Drive compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory agencies, and implement team-building initiatives to create a positive and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • ServSafe Food Service Manager Certification: Possess ServSafe Food Service Manager Certification.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Have 5+ years of food operations experience, including 3+ years of management, and experience with cash handling policies and procedures, familiarity with various point of sales (POS)/register systems, and computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms.
  • Additional Requirements: Be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities, and have proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish.
