Key Responsibilities- Food Service Management: Manage the food service department to provide excellent service and quality, ensuring that our patients and guests receive a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
- Leadership and Communication: Communicate effectively with department, facility, and company leadership to achieve goals and objectives, and provide leadership that supports a team environment that fosters morale, passion, quality, and respect.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with dietitians and chefs to develop menus that are in line with market trends and deliver nutritional value, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible culinary experience.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, planning, schedules, payroll, and supplies to ensure budget compliance and optimize resources.
- Team Development: Lead team member recruiting, training, development, scheduling, and assignments, and implement team-building initiatives to create a positive and safe work environment.
- Compliance: Drive compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory agencies, ensuring that our food service department meets all relevant standards and regulations.
- ServSafe Food Service Manager Certification: Possess a valid ServSafe Food Service Manager Certification.
- Experience: Have at least 5 years of food operations experience, including 3+ years of management experience.
- Cash Handling: Have experience with cash handling policies and procedures.
- Computer Skills: Possess computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms.
- Relocation: Be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM): Possess a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification.
- Hospital Experience: Have experience working in a hospital environment.
- Language Skills: Possess proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish.
