Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care duties and technical tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities- Perform direct and non-direct patient care duties and technical tasks as assigned by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist with patient care activities, such as vital sign measurements, and provide basic care to patients.
- Operate medical equipment, such as EKG machines, and perform technical tasks as assigned.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- 1-3 years of experience as a nursing assistant, EKG Technician, Phlebotomist, or other related healthcare experience.
- High School Degree or equivalency: completion of Patient Care or Multi-skilled Tech certification program.
- American Heart BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- Preferred: Nurse Aide certification, EKG certification, and/or Phlebotomy certification.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others, conscientious, organized, and reliable.
- Computer skills for hospital information system.
- Ability to read and write English.
Adult: Early Adult (19-45); Middle Adult (46-59); Late Adult (60-79); Late, Late Adult (Over 80).
Work SchedulePer Diem position / 7P - 7A shift.
