Patient Care Technician

As a Patient Care Technician at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care duties and technical tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Director of Critical Care Nursing/Clinical Team Leader.
Responsibilities:- Performing technical tasks and assisting with patient care duties as assigned
- Working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing situations
- Providing excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work well with others
- Being conscientious, organized, and reliable in a team-oriented setting
- Using computer skills for hospital information systems and being able to read and write English
- High School Degree or equivalency
- Completion of Patient Care or Multi-skilled Tech certification program
- American Heart BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Preferred: Nurse Aide certification, EKG certification, and/or Phlebotomy certification
Adults, Early Adults, Middle Adults, Late Adults, and Late, Late Adults (Over 80)
Work Schedule:Per Diem position, 7P - 7A shift
