About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team at Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Rehabilitation Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and reassess patients to identify their individual needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and registered nurses.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
  • IV Certified or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
  • Minimum six months Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
