Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and mobility assistance, as needed.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • CPR/BCLS certification, with ACLS preferred.
  • IV Certified or obtained within 6 months, highly preferred.
  • Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting, preferred.
