Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our emergency and specialty care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Triage and monitor critical patients
- Administer treatments and medications
- Assist with diagnostic tests and emergency procedures
- Ensure patient comfort and communicate effectively with pet owners
- Maintain equipment and supplies, and document patient care
- Engage in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and best practices
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices, and estimates
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP)
- CA RVT license preferred but not required
