Position Summary:

In the role of Senior Culinary Manager, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all staff members. You will lead the preparation of meals in alignment with corporate standards and guidelines. This position is ideal for a dynamic and innovative culinary professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement regular and customized menus following established protocols.
  • Adhere to standardized recipes and presentation standards, utilizing daily production logs and waste tracking.
  • Provide training to kitchen personnel on food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, and sanitation practices.
  • Establish and uphold cleaning and maintenance schedules for kitchen equipment and workspaces.
  • Manage inventory of food and non-food supplies, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines while maintaining necessary stock levels.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the use of leftover food products in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations through regular audits and inspections.
  • Follow safety protocols and participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years of progressive experience in culinary management.
  • Experience in high-volume catering is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in managing complex foodservice operations.
  • Hands-on culinary experience is essential.
  • Strong understanding of food trends, quality control, sanitation, and cost management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications.
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
