About the Role

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional food services to our residents. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and portion food according to the planned menu and production sheets, ensuring that all food is handled and served safely and efficiently.
  • Food Presentation: Ensure that all food is presented in an attractive and appetizing manner, meeting the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Temperature Control: Maintain the proper temperature of food during preparation and service, recording temperatures as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide warm and friendly greetings to residents, families, and visitors, responding to their concerns and needs in a professional and caring manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure seamless food service operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Possess a minimum of a 10th-grade education.
  • Decision-Making: Demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Mathematical Skills: Possess basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
