Administrative Coordinator

{"Job Type": "Full-time", "Description": "The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Department of Labor (DOL) Office of Job Corps. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to various levels of government personnel, including Executive Directors, Deputy Directors, and DOL staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the review and preparation of outgoing documents, ensuring proper format, grammar, and style
* Develop and edit routine business documents, such as memorandums and standard operating procedures
* Proofread and edit policy and official documents
* Update and assist with the preparation of relevant policy and program guidance
* Develop and track correspondence using the DOL electronic system
* Maintain and distribute document templates
* Develop and update standard operating procedures
* Answer phones and perform other related administrative tasks as required
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to display proper grammar and punctuation
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications
* Experience providing and organizing departmental events and executive leadership conferences
* High School Diploma and 5-7 years of administrative experience supporting executive level personnel within a federal agency
