Job Overview:

As a Ground Support Equipment Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of various specialized vehicles. Your expertise will contribute to the maintenance and repair of essential equipment used in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions on aircraft ground support machinery.
  • Conduct intricate diagnostics, servicing, and maintenance on both customer-owned and company-operated equipment.
  • Identify and rectify mechanical issues related to engines (Diesel, Gas, and LP).
  • Analyze and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic starting systems utilizing appropriate schematics.
  • Employ diagnostic software to troubleshoot Powertrain Management Systems effectively.
  • Accurately complete vehicle repair orders and documentation to uphold quality standards.
  • Report safety concerns and customer service requests to management promptly.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certification/diploma is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Licensing: A valid driver’s license is required, and compliance with company policies is essential.
  • Security: Ability to obtain and maintain an airport-issued ID badge as per contractual obligations.
