Job Overview

Ultra Clean Technology Systems & Svc Inc is seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to contribute to our innovative projects in the semiconductor industry. As a pivotal player in a rapidly advancing field, you will be involved in the design and development of essential components that power modern technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create precise and comprehensive manufacturing drawings utilizing SolidWorks.
  • Develop CAD models from sketches and design modifications.
  • Comprehend system design from initial concept through to production release.
  • Understand material specifications and processes relevant to mechanical component design and manufacturing.
  • Generate assembly drawings and Bills of Material from assembly models.
  • Prepare layouts and detailed drawings based on design specifications.
  • Verify that designs meet established specifications through calculations.
  • Provide thorough technical documentation for design improvements aimed at manufacturability.
  • Design with cost efficiency and manufacturability in mind.
  • Support manufacturing operations through real-time defect analysis and corrective actions.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in component and system design using SolidWorks and Pro-Engineer.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems and mechanisms.
  • General understanding of drawing standards, including GD&T.
  • Exhibit initiative and ownership of tasks while seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Commitment to accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor that positively reflects the organization.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Associate's degree or higher in a technical discipline, ideally in Electronics, IT, or Physics.
Experience:
  • 4-6 years of experience as an electro-mechanical technician in a manufacturing setting is required.
Relevant Experience:
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience with welding or machining in a professional context.
  • 1-3 years of experience with CAD software, specifically in converting 2D prints to 3D models.
  • 2-4 years of practical experience on a manufacturing line, particularly in the semiconductor sector.
Work Environment:

  • Work primarily takes place in an office setting.
Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Ability to kneel, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
  • Ability to lift and carry weights up to 25 lbs.
  • Capability to sit for extended periods.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment.
  • Engagement in tasks that may involve prolonged sitting with intermittent standing and bending.
  • Ability to manage interruptions during work hours.
Environmental Considerations:
  • Personal protective equipment is mandatory where applicable.
  • Exposure to electrical currents, moving parts, chemicals, and debris may occur.
  • Work may involve moderate noise levels from office equipment.
