About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our design team at Meade Engineering, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering innovative mechanical systems for data centers and other high-profile construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Independently drive projects forward throughout the design and construction phases, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Design and Development: Design and develop mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers, including major equipment selection and scheduling.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-discipline design teams, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications, and coordinate with external vendors and manufacturers.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, and demonstrate strong leadership skills to drive project success.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of Professional Mechanical Engineering design experience designing mechanical systems for data centers or other mission-critical projects.
  • Valid Mechanical P.E. license and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and energy codes, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility in order to achieve long-range objectives.
  • Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated to work as a team.
  • Top-notch organization, attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, BIM, and Revit.
