Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Engineering Technician to support our innovative projects and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce precise and comprehensive manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
  • Create 3D models of components and assemblies based on initial sketches and modifications.
  • Comprehend system designs from conceptual stages through to detailed production releases.
  • Familiarize with material specifications and processes essential for the design and manufacturing of mechanical parts.
  • Generate assembly drawings and Bills of Materials from completed assembly models.
  • Prepare layouts and detailed drawings according to design specifications.
  • Verify that designs adhere to specified requirements.
  • Provide technical documentation to enhance design for manufacturability.
  • Design with cost efficiency and manufacturability in mind.
  • Support manufacturing operations by investigating defects and facilitating rework to meet customer standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient in component and system design using SolidWorks and Pro-Engineer.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems and mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with drawing standards, formatting, and dimensioning, including basic GD&T.
  • Exhibit initiative and ownership of tasks while being proactive in seeking assistance when necessary.
  • Commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor that positively represents the organization.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Associate's degree or higher in a technical field, ideally in Electronics, IT, or Physics.
Experience:
  • 4-6 years of experience as an electro-mechanical technician in a manufacturing setting is required.
Relevant Experience:
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience with welding and/or machining in a professional context.
  • 1-3 years of experience with CAD software, capable of converting 2D prints into 3D models.
  • 2-4 years of experience on a manufacturing line related to physical product assembly, preferably in the semiconductor sector.
Work Environment:
