Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled CAD Drafter to contribute to our team. In this role, you will be essential in converting conceptual MEP designs into precise construction documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in drafting and modeling with AutoCAD software, demonstrating a strong commitment to precision and detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and detailed MEP drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to create comprehensive construction documentation.
  • Ensure compliance of all drawings and models with industry standards and company protocols.
  • Assist in coordinating with other disciplines such as Mechanical, Architectural, and Civil.
  • Review and modify drawings based on input from project managers and clients.
  • Stay informed about the latest software advancements and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software; experience with REVIT is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word.
  • Prior experience in an MEP firm or a related field.
  • Strong comprehension of construction drawings, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Architectural.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) concepts is a plus.
  • Self-driven, adaptable to ambiguity, and motivated to contribute as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
