Position Summary
North American Lighting (NAL) is in search of a Supplier Quality Engineer II. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the performance of designated suppliers in key areas such as Quality, Delivery, Service, and Total Cost.

Key Responsibilities
The selected individual will:

  • Conduct Supplier Quality Systems Surveys and perform comprehensive supplier process evaluations.
  • Facilitate component part design review sessions.
  • Collaborate with NAL Buyers to collect data and make informed decisions regarding product sourcing.
  • Review and authorize Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) submissions.
  • Execute thorough Supplier process assessments.
  • Carry out technical and statistical investigations and analyses concerning supplier-related quality challenges, utilizing standard NAL problem-solving methodologies.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree, accompanied by 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 to 4 years in manufacturing.
  • A minimum of 5 years in Supplier Quality Engineering or Customer Relations within the automotive supplier sector, with experience in a Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing environment being highly desirable.
