Job Summary
North American Lighting Inc., a leading automotive exterior lighting manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems, processes, and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality in our supplier base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct supplier quality systems surveys and process reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead component part design review meetings to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with NAL buyers to gather information and make decisions regarding product sourcing.
- Review and approve ISIR submissions to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Perform technical and statistical investigations and analysis on supplier-related quality issues using standard NAL problem-solving methods.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, plus 3 to 5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or customer relations within the automotive supplier manufacturing industry, with experience in a JIT manufacturing environment.
