Job Overview

We are in search of a meticulous and skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to deliver engineering expertise in our plastic molding operations. This position encompasses material processing and evaluation, equipment management, and the formulation of guidelines for material selection and performance tailored to specific applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory tests to verify material quality.
  • Develop application processes for various materials.
  • Document and report findings effectively.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between customers and material suppliers.
  • Coordinate material and process specifications with tool engineering for new product launches.
  • Provide technical assistance to project teams during product introductions.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 2-4 years of experience in material and process engineering, ideally within the plastics sector of the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with SAE and/or ASTM standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and MS Project.
  • Experience with industrial materials such as polycarbonate, acrylic, PMMA, polypropylene, ABS, and ASA.
