Position Summary
North American Lighting (NAL) is seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer II. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the performance of assigned suppliers in key areas such as Quality, Delivery, Service, and Total Cost.

Key Responsibilities
Your main duties will include:

  • Conducting Supplier Quality Systems Surveys and process evaluations.
  • Leading design review meetings for component parts.
  • Collaborating with NAL Buyers to collect data and make informed sourcing decisions.
  • Reviewing and authorizing Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR).
  • Performing thorough Supplier process assessments.
  • Executing technical and statistical analyses on supplier-related quality challenges using standard NAL problem-solving methodologies.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 to 4 years in a manufacturing context.
  • A minimum of 5 years in Supplier Quality Engineering or Customer Relations within the automotive supplier sector, with experience in a Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing environment being highly desirable.
