Job Summary

The On Call Event Services Technician is responsible for assisting with floor operations, including setup, strike, and operation of technology solutions in a hotel or hospitality environment. This role requires delivering unmatched customer service to our guests and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all event sets and strikes are completed according to Company SOPs.
  • Greet guests/clients before events and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment.
  • Provide continued communication with clients to ensure the success of all events.
  • Follows through on all client requests.
  • Look for opportunities to enhance client's events.
  • Maintain accurate client event information within the Company's business systems.
  • Review daily invoices with clients and obtain client's signature on invoice(s).
  • Comply with all Company security and safety measures and is constantly aware of the property inventory and location of equipment and ensures inventory is secure from theft and/or damage.
  • Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition.
  • Ensure any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment is immediately reported to management.
  • Ensure inventory is secure from theft and/or damage.
  • Make sure all Company occupied areas are clean, organized, and up to Company standards.
  • Continually work toward enhancing and improving technical skills to include audio, video/data, staging, and computer operation and networking.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Prior exposure to audio visual and/or hospitality industry.
  • Computer proficiency (hardware, software, and networking).
About You

We're looking for a strong technical aptitude, good working knowledge of computer hardware and software, planning ability, and strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail are also required. A commitment to best-in-class customer service for internal and external stakeholders is essential.
