Key Responsibilities:
The International Patient Services Coordinator is a vital member of the Cedars-Sinai International care team, dedicated to addressing the customer service needs of international patients and their families. You will facilitate a seamless experience, ensuring high levels of satisfaction among patients and their families. Your role includes:
- Assisting international patients and families in navigating non-medical resources within the medical center and surrounding community.
- Analyzing patient and family needs, organizing resources, and addressing inquiries effectively.
- Providing exceptional customer service, handling interactions with professionalism and hospitality.
- Resolving customer complaints and responding to inquiries regarding services, operations, and personnel.
- Administering patient and family surveys to gather feedback.
- Preparing and mailing welcome packets with essential information about Cedars-Sinai and the local area.
- Triage incoming inquiries, providing coverage for patient lounges and telephone communications.
- Meeting and greeting patients and their families upon arrival.
- Tracking daily lounge visitor logs and concierge services provided.
- Coordinating concierge services, including hotel accommodations and transportation arrangements.
- Maintaining a clean and organized lounge environment, including managing supplies and amenities.
- Overseeing collaborative spaces to ensure efficient use and customer service.
- Building a network of contacts to accommodate diverse requests from patients and VIP clients.
- Upholding patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Coordinating language access services and dietary needs for patients.
- Establishing effective relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Promoting inclusivity and cultural diversity in practices and procedures.
- Identifying and responding to customer needs using available resources.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, hospitality management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-level customer service or hospitality, with a focus on resolving complex issues.
- Fluency in Arabic is required.
