Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic People (HR) Generalist to enhance our workforce and organizational culture. This role is pivotal in fostering employee engagement and operational excellence through a focus on employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, safety protocols, HR information systems, and benefits management. The position is full-time and based at our BW Integrated Systems facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to leaders and team members to foster a positive work environment.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process, including candidate screening, onboarding, and conducting exit interviews.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage corporate benefit programs and facilitate enrollment processes for new hires and annual renewals.
  • Learning Management: Administer the learning management system and track completion of training modules.
  • Performance Management: Collaborate with senior HR leadership to drive performance and compensation review processes.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain the HR system of record and assist team members in its usage.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Community Relations: Cultivate strong relationships within the community and among team members.
  • Policy Guidance: Provide information on company policies and benefits to associates.
  • Goal Setting: Oversee the administration of goal-setting and continuous feedback processes.
  • Safety Program: Support the facility's safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Special Projects: Participate in or lead special projects as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing context.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and safety regulations.
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, and organizational change.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; familiarity with Workday is a plus.
