Patient Services Coordinator

About the Role:
As a Patient Services Representative at Cooper University Health Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the front-line contact person for all incoming patients, providing top-notch customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet, register, and schedule patients in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collect point-of-service copays and provide general information to patients and their families using AIDET.
- Serve as the patient's non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination, ensuring a seamless transition of care.
- Utilize excellent communication and customer service skills to resolve patient inquiries and concerns.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient scheduling and positive patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Computer literate with experience in a medical environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of medical insurances and IDX systems a plus.
