Key Responsibilities

1. **Patient Interaction**: Welcome patients and visitors using AIDET principles while ensuring a personalized and outstanding service experience. Keep patients informed about any delays and provide suitable alternatives when necessary.

2. **Registration Duties**: Execute all registration tasks, including comprehensive registration, updating and validating personal details, insurance information, and securing necessary signatures.

3. **Patient Outreach**: Conduct and document patient outreach for messages received through various communication channels, including front desk inquiries and confirmation calls.

4. **Technology Utilization**: Employ kiosks, tablets, and other technological tools to assist patients upon their arrival, ensuring a seamless experience.

5. **Appointment Management**: Schedule appointments efficiently for patients across the healthcare spectrum, including follow-up visits, imaging, and lab services.

6. **Financial Transactions**: Collect co-pays and outstanding balances, and manage cash drawer reconciliation on a daily basis.

7. **Administrative Support**: Accurately perform a variety of non-clinical administrative tasks, including in-basket and telephone communications, medical record documentation, and processing insurance forms and referrals.

8. **Compliance and Standards**: Adhere to regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring patient rights are respected and emergencies are handled appropriately.

9. **Team Collaboration**: Effectively communicate with multidisciplinary team members and patients, upholding our Mission, Vision, and Values while adhering to ethical conduct standards.

10. **Flexibility and Multitasking**: Demonstrate the ability to adapt and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, responding to varying patient volumes.

Experience Required

Minimum of one year of recent experience in registration or billing within a medical facility is preferred. Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, and insurance processes is highly desirable. Familiarity with Epic software is an advantage. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are essential, along with a proven track record of excellent customer service.

Education Requirements

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
