Sales Route Specialist

The Sales Route Specialist is essential in fostering business relationships with clients and is committed to fulfilling their needs and expectations. This role involves gathering customer insights through direct interactions with key decision-makers and leveraging this information to enhance product offerings and services. The focus is on maximizing sales opportunities while maintaining a strong account retention strategy.
Key Responsibilities? Achieve sales targets and drive overall route expansion, service agreement renewals, and customer loyalty to boost market center profitability.
? Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue by introducing new products to existing clients and acquiring new accounts.
? Build and sustain effective, respectful relationships with clients, delivering exceptional customer service through an ownership mentality.
? Prioritize account retention and proactively address customer concerns and opportunities for improvement.
? Ensure safe loading and unloading of products, timely delivery of merchandise, proper stocking, rotation of products, and maintenance of equipment.
? Operate the company vehicle safely and courteously, adhering to traffic regulations.
? Conduct daily vehicle maintenance checks and maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle interior while complying with all DOT regulations.
? Manage inventory levels at customer sites, ensuring quality and functionality of products.
? Responsible for accurate daily accounting of all financial transactions and products in line with established protocols.
? Practice active listening and effective communication, especially in challenging situations, through both internal and external channels.
? Collaborate with management and team members regarding customer feedback and competitive insights.
? 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
? High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
? Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT certification for operating regulated vehicles.
? Strong communication skills with clients and operational staff.
? Ability to adapt quickly to changing demands.
? Proficient in product sales or willing to be trained.
? Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
? Acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
? Strong organizational and time management skills are critical for success in this role.
? Ability to work independently and efficiently is essential.
