Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a Comprehensive Development Plan
    • Establish targeted goals, activities, outcomes, and timelines to drive fundraising efforts.
  • Secure Financial Support
    • Identify and secure in-kind and financial support from individuals, foundations, and businesses to support operations and capital campaigns.
  • Manage Donor Relationships
    • Manage and maintain a donor database, coordinate timely donor acknowledgement and correspondence, and work closely with the Director of Finance and Operations to track all donations.
  • Plan and Execute Events
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute events that support The Bridge Behavioral Health's fundraising goals.
  • Identify Grant Funding Opportunities
    • Identify potential grant funding opportunities and coordinate the submission and reporting of all grants.
  • Collaborate with Staff
    • Work closely with staff to understand program services and obtain information for reporting, comply with donor expectations, and be aware of programmatic needs to fill gaps or unmet needs.
  • Assist with Budget Development
    • Assist the Director of Finance and Operations with the development of an annual budget related to fundraising and development.
  • Represent The Bridge
    • Serve as the Give Nebraska representative and coordinate the giving campaign.
  • Recruit Volunteers
    • Recruit and coordinate volunteers with the Office Manager.
  • Cultivate Board Members
    • Assist the Executive Director with identifying potential Board members and cultivating Board giving.
  • Manage Printed Materials
    • Manage the design, production, and distribution of printed materials and swag that support The Bridge's programs and fundraising goals.
  • Maintain Online Presence
    • Maintain the website and all social media platforms.
  • Create Employee Bulletin
    • Create and distribute the Employee Bulletin bi-weekly.
  • Investigate Partnerships
    • Investigate program partnerships and strategic alliances that will enhance the organization's awareness in the community and increase avenues of support.
  • Cultivate Civic Organizations
    • Assist the Executive Director with the cultivation of civic organizations, corporate, foundation, and business representatives via presentations, tours, and volunteerism.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in Fundraising
    • Experience in fundraising and development.

  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE)
