Market Development Representative

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Market Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with On-Premise outlets, such as bars, restaurants, and hotels, to grow our portfolio and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and market share for Sazerac brands in assigned territories.
- Build strong relationships with customers, wholesalers, and internal teams to drive business growth and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with Market Development Manager to develop and implement brand-building programs, promotions, and distribution activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in sales or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to obtain a relevant solicitor's permit in any state.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
- Market development and sales analysis experience.
- Strong ability to self-manage and manage schedule to achieve results.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to ascend or descend stairs and drive to multiple accounts in one day.
