Position Overview - IT Systems Supervisor
The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) is seeking a proficient IT Systems Supervisor to oversee operations at the Center for Communications Research.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage IT personnel, including task allocation, recruitment, mentoring, and performance assessments.
- Oversee IT systems operations, ensuring hardware and software upkeep, documentation, user assistance, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Ensure the security of IT systems by collaborating with security personnel, managing configurations, and maintaining system accreditations.
- Facilitate system procurement and disposal, collaborating with management on requirements, assessing vendors, managing financial resources, and supervising decommissioning processes.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
Experience:
A minimum of ten years in the field, with at least five years in system administration and five years in IT management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to acquire and maintain essential IT security certifications.
Experience in leading IT or Information Security projects and teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and obtain necessary security clearances.
