Key Responsibilities:

  • Must hold a Certified Public Accountant license in New York State.
  • Engage with vendors and subcontractors from the initiation of contract documentation, ensuring compliance with Certified Payroll, General Liability, and Worker's Compensation insurance.
  • Oversee and process subcontractor invoices, including the preparation of all necessary supporting documentation.
  • Collect warranties during the project closeout phase.
  • Maintain and organize both hard and digital project files.
  • Gather and manage subcontractor insurance documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in current accounting software and reporting tools.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Certified Payroll processes.
  • Familiarity with HVAC or Mechanical Construction industries.
