Culinary Expert for Airport Restaurant

Cook/Line Cook Role Purpose:
The Line Chef will prepare all food according to recipe requirements, ensuring all food meets the high standard of excellence set by Jackmont Hospitality Inc.
Key Qualifications:
- To work in the airport, you must pass TSA badging requirements.
- You must be able to prepare recipes as given by Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine.
- Lift and carry product(s) up to 70 lbs., up to 20 times per shift.
- Frequent bending and stooping.
- Knowledge of HACCP and safety regulations.
- Use hands 99% of the time.
- Stand and walk most of a 6-8 hour shift.
- Must be able to hear kitchen expeditor and/or manager requests in loud background noise.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with recipe changes while executing procedures to ensure quality and consistency.
- Communicate ticket times and potential problems with service staff, kitchen staff, and managers.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a timely manner to achieve overall objectives.
- Maintain favorable working relationships with other employees to foster a cooperative climate, promoting employee morale, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Additional duties assigned.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year. Benefits include competitive pay, opportunities for advancement, and a positive work environment.
