Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Volunteer Program Administrator to join our team at Women In Need, Inc. in New York City.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating volunteer programs, managing relationships with volunteers and donors, and ensuring that all programs adhere to best practices of trauma-informed care and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating training, onboarding, and supervision of volunteers;
  • Managing day-to-day Donation Room operations;
  • Maintaining up-to-date records on volunteers, events, and in-kind donations;
  • Writing quarterly newsletter and promoting programs externally;

Requirements include:

  • Commitment to Win's mission, vision, and values;
  • Ability to efficiently handle multiple projects at once and manage competing priorities;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent people skills and ability to be a team player;
  • Spanish language proficiency preferred;
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Canva preferred;
