We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Volunteer Program Manager to join our team at Women In Need, Inc. As a key member of our Volunteer Services Department, you will play a vital role in the administration and management of volunteer programs, in-kind donations, and other projects.

About the Job

The Volunteer Services Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our volunteer programs, including recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers. This role also involves coordinating in-kind donations, managing day-to-day Donation Room operations, and assisting with annual programs such as the Backpack Buddies Drive and Holiday Gift Program.

You will work closely with our Interns, Manager, and Director to achieve the goals of our Volunteer Services department. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for working with diverse groups of people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to support the success of our Volunteer Services programs
  • Coordinate in-kind donation deliveries, pick-ups, inspections, organization, and distribution
  • Manage day-to-day Donation Room operations, including supervising interns and assigning tasks to volunteers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Associate's degree preferred
  • Previous volunteer and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Spanish language proficiency preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) & Canva preferred
Salary

$55-65K per year
