About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team at HUB International. As an Account Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with day-to-day account management, claims management, and underwriting services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned book of business, develop client relationships, and meet strategic objectives to grow and retain clients
  • Help develop and implement client benefits strategies
  • Prepare plans to identify short- and long-term needs
  • Interface with clients at various levels to understand objectives and requirements
  • Maintain regular interactions with clients to develop relationships and advise on new product and service offerings
  • Ensure all services are implemented according to project plans and meet quality standards
  • Act as the "quarterback" directing the account team on client work and deliverables
  • Coach and mentor the service team on RFP and marketing processes, strategies for new and renewing plans, and other aspects of open enrollment
  • Work with clients to identify wellness initiatives and develop alternatives
  • Offer and implement value-added services
  • Develop client 3-5 year strategic plans
  • Be the team point person for client escalations and issues
  • Understand and explain carrier renewals for assigned clients
  • Stay current on compliance initiatives and changes in legislation impacting employee benefit programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of related experience in a brokerage environment
  • Experience supporting the large group market (100+ lives)
  • Self-funding experience preferred but not required
  • Experience as a strategic lead for accounts
  • Valid CA Life Agent license
  • Problem-solving, project management, customer service, industry knowledge, computer skills, relationship management, and leadership skills
