Job Summary

Bridge Personal Care Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant State Tested to join our team. As a Certified Home Health Care Professional, you will provide exceptional care and support to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance to patients under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or therapist.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Manage weekend rotation assignments and maintain open communication with on-call nurses.
  • Document patient care and progress in accordance with Bridge Home Health and Hospice guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Display a commitment to service excellence and promote patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Current STNA registry in the State of Ohio.
  • One year of experience as an STNA.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the philosophy, mission, and goals of Bridge Personal Care Services.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle for business travel.
  • Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma.

Physical Demands

This position requires a full range of body motions with intermittent walking, lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and standing. The associate will be required to walk for up to one hour a day, sit for four to six hours a day, and stand for one hour a day. The individual must be able to lift twenty to fifty pounds and reach work above the shoulders. The individual must have good eye-hand coordination and fine finger dexterity for simple grasping tasks. The individual must have excellent verbal communication skills to perform daily tasks. The associate must have corrected vision and hearing in the normal range. The individual must be able to operate a motor vehicle for business travel.
