Role and Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals in the Compliance and Security Operations group, setting strategic direction and driving team performance to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and implement regulatory compliance strategies, including mock audits and gap analysis.
  • Provide technical support on regulatory requirements and lead discussions on complex regulatory issues.
  • Manage day-to-day compliance activities for clients, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business improvement initiatives and optimize operations.
  • Develop and manage large-scale projects, making resource and delivery tradeoffs as necessary.
  • Facilitate meetings with external stakeholders and resolve issues within and across teams.
  • Mentor and coach team members on job-specific roles, communication, and collaboration.
  • Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, and performance requirements.
Required Qualifications & Education
  • 2-4 years of management experience in a compliance or regulatory role.
  • Expertise in senior management, with a proven track record of driving team performance and business results.
  • Proven documentation, presentation, and communication skills, with experience working with senior-level management, CEOs, and boards of directors.
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Ability to set direction and drive large cross-functional teams to success.
  • Proven success in personnel management, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Strong project and people management skills, with experience organizing work, planning, monitoring, and making tradeoffs to ensure quality deliveries.
  • Able to liaise with clients and internal teams on significant issues that require high-level management intervention.
  • Root cause analysis and process improvement skills, with experience driving business improvement initiatives.
Preferred Experience
  • Regulatory audit experience in at least one of the NERC Regions.
  • Experience with NERC Standards, RSAWs, and ERT.
  • Second-level management of a large team.
  • Successful delivery of large cross-functional projects.
  • Expertise in senior manager-specific activities.
  • Process improvement experience with Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
  • Experience in the green energy or utilities domain.
  • Experience with a U.S.-based company.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to distill information and present it in an understandable manner.
  • Training creation and process improvement skills.
  • Coaching and leadership skills.


Compensation Range:
83,150 USD per year (Remote)
