JOB OVERVIEW
At Sunrise Senior Living, our dedicated Care Manager plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. As part of our compassionate team, you will engage with residents through laughter, support, and meaningful interactions that enrich their daily experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Shift Timing: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture meaningful connections with a designated group of seniors and their families, assisting them with daily living activities and addressing their individual care needs.
- Monitor changes in residents' conditions and collaborate with management to adjust care plans as necessary.
- Facilitate life skills and enriching activities tailored to each resident's unique profile.
- Participate in creating and updating Individualized Service Plans (ISP) for residents.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by regularly checking on them throughout your shift.
- Work alongside the community team to uphold OSHA compliance and promote risk management policies.
- Attend to the dining needs of residents and guests, ensuring adherence to Sunrise's hospitality standards.
- Encourage and assist residents in engaging in life skills and activities as outlined in their ISP.
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for serving seniors with outstanding customer service skills.
- A positive demeanor, adaptability to various duties, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, as per state regulations.
- In applicable states, maintaining relevant certifications is required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous experience in senior care is advantageous.
- Ability to make informed decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective organizational and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
