Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive major and individual gifts funding strategy to meet and grow individual contributions annually.
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective major gift donors, identifying new funding opportunities and developing strategic plans to achieve our fundraising goals.
  • Collaborate with the Deputy Director, Major Gifts and Major Gifts Associate to design and implement innovative donor engagement strategies that deepen understanding and commitment to our mission.
  • Facilitate strategy sessions, manage internal collaborators, create supplementary materials, and draft compelling proposals for flexible and lightly restricted funding.
  • Support Living Goods' engagement of current and prospective donors at key events, making recommendations for attendance, meetings, and events that drive business development strategies.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of progressive fundraising experience, with a proven track record of building donor relationships and achieving fundraising goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire action through both written and verbal storytelling.
  • Ability to work across cultures and time zones, with a collaborative team player mindset.
  • Agile project management skills, with the ability to assess ROI and pivot as needed.
