Job Title: Director of Development

As we transition our coalition into a fiscally sponsored operation, we are seeking a skilled professional to lead our development efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising and finance, with a proven track record of securing grants and managing donations. They will be responsible for creating a comprehensive development plan, managing our budget, and collaborating with our team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic development plan to secure funding and resources
  • Manage our budget and financial operations to ensure effective use of resources
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and pursue new funding opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in fundraising and finance
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in fundraising and finance, preferably in a nonprofit setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and accountability
  • Passion for combating forced labor and other forms of human trafficking, with a commitment to our mission and values
