Role Overview

As a Culinary Preparation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen team, contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations. Your shifts will typically start in the morning, around 9 AM. You will be responsible for preparing a diverse range of dishes from scratch, utilizing various cooking techniques, both hot and cold. Your duties will include executing daily prep tasks as directed by management, adapting to changing needs, and effectively communicating any issues or requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and adapt to the pFriem kitchen's methods and standards.
  • Engage in open communication regarding challenges and seek clarification when needed.
  • Arrive punctually for all shifts, prepared to work with focus and clarity.
  • Maintain consistent availability for scheduled shifts.
  • Proactively seek additional tasks and assist team members as necessary.
  • Carefully follow recipes, measuring ingredients accurately in both standard and metric units.
  • Adhere to all management-provided checklists and guidelines.
  • Prioritize quality, cleanliness, and professionalism in all tasks, regardless of the kitchen's volume.
  • Be prepared to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
  • Comply with company policies regarding health and safety practices.
