Key Responsibilities- Provide support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other service providers
- Instruct and support individuals in daily living skills, including cleaning, meal preparation, and food shopping
- Prepare meals according to developed menus and protocols
- Assist individuals in developing daily living skills by identifying and meeting social, environmental, and healthcare needs
- Transport individuals and provide mobility training to assist with appointments and community activities
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and program meetings as instructed
- Ensure compliance with program requirements, environment-specific rules, and regulations from monitoring entities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Experience working in a residential setting with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Experience working with individuals who are medically fragile or have physical limitations
