Job Title: Overnight Behavioral Health Technician

At Holman Recovery Center, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with substance use disorders in their recovery journey.

Job Summary:

The Overnight Behavioral Health Technician will work closely with our clients, providing personal guidance, support, and liaison services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with identifying treatment needs and developing individual treatment plans
  • Providing outreach, support, and recovery check-ups in our facility and the community
  • Functioning as part of the treatment team to ensure seamless care
Responsibilities:

As an Overnight Behavioral Health Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing living skills, case management, and social support to our clients
  • Completing daily record keeping as directed by the Clinical Director
  • Leading educational groups to help clients regain skills needed to reenter the community
  • Providing oversight to clients during housekeeping, meal service, and daily activities
  • Performing basic medical tasks, such as obtaining and documenting vital signs
  • Transporting and supervising clients to appointments and activities
  • Organizing and facilitating recreation, physical fitness, and leisure activities
  • Providing information to the treatment team to inform treatment decision making
  • Linking clients to available resources in the community post-treatment
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to understand and work with individuals with substance use disorders
  • Professionalism and appropriate boundaries in all interactions
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups
  • Basic mathematical skills and reasoning ability to solve practical problems
Education and Experience:
