We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC or LCDC-I) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality behavioral health services to our patients, utilizing evidence-based treatments and strategies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and their families to identify behavioral health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Deliver a range of behavioral health interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, behavioral therapy, and addiction counseling.
Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
Develop and maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients, fostering a safe and supportive environment for growth and healing.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
Provide crisis management and intervention services as needed, adhering to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
Stay up-to-date with best practices in behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development and training.
**Requirements:**
Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a behavioral health setting.
Experience working in an IOP/PHP setting
Knowledge of general behavioral health issues and evidence-based treatments.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality, patient-centered therapy services.
Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and behavioral therapy techniques.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, and managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience with crisis management and intervention services.
Proficiency in motivational interviewing and other evidence-based therapies.
Commitment to delivering culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care.
