Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Design/Technical Services Engineer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for assisting internal and external customers with technical inquiries related to product properties, application, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with architects, specifiers, contractors, and project owners regarding performance and implementation of Kingspan panel products.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations departments to provide technical product and application information.
  • Perform preliminary building engineering analyses, including structural, environmental, and other application requirements.
  • Analyze and communicate principles of building envelope science, including vapor, moisture, thermal, air movement, and rain-screen concepts.
  • Understand and communicate North American building regulations, including structural codes, energy codes, testing, and certification standards.
  • Develop and modify installation details for non-standard conditions.
  • Assist with preparation of project submittals and product development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Revit drawing programs.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel.
  • Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple projects.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
