Join Our Team
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Design/Technical Services Engineer to support our operations. This role involves assisting both internal and external stakeholders with technical inquiries related to product specifications, applications, and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with architects, specifiers, contractors, and project stakeholders to discuss the performance and application of Kingspan products.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to provide technical insights and product information.
- Conduct preliminary engineering analyses, including structural and environmental assessments.
- Communicate principles of building envelope science effectively to various audiences.
- Interpret and relay North American building regulations, including structural and energy codes.
- Develop and adjust installation details for unique project conditions.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and product development initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit software is preferred.
- Possess a valid passport and willingness to travel.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal skills for handling sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
The physical demands of this role include:
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 20 lbs occasionally.
- Involves primarily sitting, with occasional walking or standing.
- Visual acuity for close and distance tasks.
