Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Design/Technical Services Engineer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. The successful candidate will assist our internal and external customers with technical inquiries, product properties, and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate with architects, specifiers, general/sub-contractors, and project owners regarding performance and implementation of Kingspan panel products.
- Perform preliminary building engineering analyses, including structural, environmental, and other application requirements.
- Analyze and communicate principles of building envelope science and ability to communicate these principles to other parties.
- Understand and communicate North American building regulations, including structural codes, energy codes, testing, and certification standards.
- Develop/modify installation details for non-standard conditions.
- Assist with preparation of project submittals.
- Assist with product development.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical engineering.
- Read and understand architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
- Experienced with AutoCAD or Revit drawing programs.
- Valid passport and ability to travel.
- Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple projects.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Good spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
