Job Description

At Leidos, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Power Delivery Services Team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating projects for a large electric utility client in the Pacific Northwest.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex projects and programs related to the planning, design, and construction of electrical grid infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

As a Project Manager, you will work closely with our clients, project teams, and functional leadership to ensure that projects are delivered successfully. You will be responsible for managing project costs, schedules, and scope, as well as developing and maintaining comprehensive project dashboard reports and KPI tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project costs, schedules, and scope
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project dashboard reports and KPI tracking
  • Work closely with clients, project teams, and functional leadership to ensure project success
  • Manage project risks and issues
  • Develop and implement project recovery plans

Requirements:

  • Associate Level: 1-2 years of relevant Project Management experience
  • Mid Level: 2+ Years of Relevant Project Management Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • Demonstrated experience with project costing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, or related scheduling platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel locally and/or regionally as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience within the electric power industry
  • Knowledge of business issues associated with power delivery service
  • Familiarity with industry regulatory environment for electric utilities
  • Ability to demonstrate recent and in-depth expertise in electric power infrastructure projects within distribution, substation, or transmission
