Position Overview: Clinical Educator for Community Education

In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Director of Education to evaluate the educational needs of staff members. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and assessing educational initiatives tailored to meet these needs. Additionally, you will create learning opportunities for patients, families, and the broader community, ensuring that these experiences are culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the educational requirements of healthcare staff and develop relevant training programs.
  • Implement educational activities that cater to the diverse needs of patients and their families.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification or training in Nursing, EMT, Lactation, or Childbirth Education.
  • California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire.
  • 0-1 year of experience in a healthcare specialty.

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in a related discipline.
