Key Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all demolition activities on-site, ensuring the project adheres to plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work plans, and site logistics.
- Oversee the demolition of structures, equipment removal, and material recycling/disposal, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage subcontractors and labor force to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any project-related issues and provide regular progress updates.
- Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained and maintained throughout the project.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, manpower, equipment, and materials used, as well as project costs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Enforce site safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety meetings and training sessions for all site personnel.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Ensure quality control throughout the demolition process, including site clean-up and preparation for future use.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction or demolition, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience in managing data center demolition or similar projects involving complex electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
- In-depth knowledge of demolition techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permits, and waste management practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and technical specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and subcontractors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- OSHA 30-hour certification required; additional safety certifications are a plus.
- Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
